EPRC Chào mừng xã hội bảo tồn động vật hoang dã
Vào ngày 18 tháng 9, EPRC đã tổ chức một xưởng quay cho các nhân viên thú y của vài trung tâm cứu hộ, bao gồm:
Bảo vệ động vật hoang dã Việt Nam, Trung tâm Bảo tồn Quy mô Cuc Trung tâm cứu hộ Động vật hoang dã ở Soc Son (Hanoi), Xã hội bảo tồn động vật hoang dã (WCS) và EPRC.
Trong xưởng này, chúng tôi rất vinh dự được bác sĩ Dee hướng dẫn. McAluse – Trưởng khoa nghiên cứu sinh tại sở thú WCS/Bronx New York City và bác sĩ Bonnie Raphael — đã nghỉ hưu với kinh nghiệm về hưu của nhà máy WCS. Hội thảo này kéo dài 3 ngày và chứa đầy kiến thức thực tiễn liên quan đến chuyện loạn dâm trên động vật hoang dã.

Proper necropsy and sample collection is a very important skill set for staffs of the rescue centers at Cuc Phuong and anywhere else in the world. It is the first step in uncovering valuable information on not only the cause of death in animals but also overall health and biology of these rare species. This knowledge can aid us in constantly improving recovery and care of animals. All of the participants were highly appreciative of the workshop and also received a participant certificate recognized by WCS after the workshop.

» IN THE FOLLOWING 2 DAYS, THE PARTICIPANTS HAD A CHANCE TO PRACTICE WHAT THEY’VE LEARNT ON SOME ANIMALS.

» EVERYONE MUST DRESS IN PROPER SURGERY COSTUMES.
